Leros Airport Information

Leros is a small paradise in the Aegean sea and the island has daily connections by ferry boats and hydrofoils to the Port of Piraeus and most of the Greek Dodecanese islands such as Patmos, Lipsi, Samos, Kos, Rhodes, Symi and Nisyros.  A bus service connects the airport to the villages and beaches and taxis and car hire are available from the airport. A lively nightlife can be found in the Marina area.  The island has many restaurants, fish taverns, coffee shops, bakeries and confectioneries with traditional Lerian sweets.  For evening entertainment there is a selection of disco bars and clubs.  Diving centers, football stadiums and basketball grounds can also be found on the island.  Hiking is a great pastime with many small paths which make a trail over the small green hills. Accommodation is plentiful on the island and there are many hotels which provide top international standards.
