Karpathos Island National Airport can be founds to the south west of the city of Karpathos.  Daily flights connect the island to Athens but Charter flights are limited. Karpathos Island lies along the western coast of Turkey and is the second largest of the cluster of Dodecanese islands.  Karpathos is situated halfway between the more famous islands of Rhodes and Crete. The capital of the island, Pigadia Town, has a selection of bars and nightclubs for evening entertainment.  Paradiso Club is fashionable for the younger element and is located just outside the capital.  The island can also be reached by ferry boat from Piraeus and by boat from Rhodes and Santorini.
