Also there is Eastern Airways with two return flights each to Aberdeen and Southampton, Monday to Friday.  The airport is easily accessible by the M53, M56, M57 and M62 motorways.

The nearest main railway station is at Liverpool South Parkway.  Regular bus shuttle services operate to the airport.  Frequent rail services operate to central Liverpool and Southport and there are also long distance direct rail links via the National Rail network.  The AirLink 500 bus operates from the airport to Liverpool Lime Street every 30 minutes Monday to Friday during the day and every 30 minutes during the evenings and at weekends.  An express coach service connecting the airport with the city centre, serving the main hotels, railway, coach and bus stations operates every 30 minutes. The stops are shown in the timetable and on the coach. The driver will advise passengers of their most suitable stop, if required. Fare is £2.50 single, children £1. Euros are also accepted.
