Airport Guide

Introduction
Paphos town is a lively tourist resort in the summer and slightly less popular during the winter months. It is situated beside the sea and has a main town just inland.

Terminals
Located in the terminal building is Car Hire Paphos Airport check-in desk. The airport is used by several different airlines and is extremely busy in summer.

Travel Routes
When you exit the airport in one of our vehicles you have the main motorway which will take you into town or onwards to Limassol. There is also a minor or B road that can accommodate vehicles.

Airport Facilities
The airport has an array of restaurants when you go through to the departure lounge. There are also several shops in the lounge as well. Outside of the lounge there is a small coffee shop and a snack machine.

Near the Airport
Coral beach is the perfect place to enjoy the glorious sunshine of Paphos. It has a wide sandy beach and the sea is simply amazing. The shopping avenue of Makariou III is a bustling little place. There is an open air market. One important thing about shopping is that the shops are closed in the afternoon until 4p.m.

The Wheatsheaf Pub is a famous place to start the evening of and has a karaoke as well as 2-4-1 drink offers.The famous Sambuca shots of Aces Bar is another for the party goer to Paphos. Bar Street in Paphos is where to find the nightlife and the entire street is dedicated to all ages. Woodyz Bar and Divas are popular with the younger crowd while California is the place to be. Whatever your taste you will find it in Paphos.

Paphos Airport Information

The Airport at Paphos was refurbished in 2008 and the new parking facilities and terminal buildings opened in November 2008.   Directions to the Airport are well signposted from Paphos Town and you can either travel via the motorway or on the quiet B road both signposted well and heading in the direction of Limassol from Paphos.  There are long stay carparks just a few miles up the road from the Airport where you can park your own car up and get a courtesy lift to the Terminal Buildings. 

Car Hire Car Parks at Paphos Airport are situated within yards of the arrivals and departure buildings and again are well signposted.  After you have collected your luggage at the airport as you come through the exit you will immediately see the car hire check in desks, just have your voucher ready and a credit card for any pre-authorisation security purposes and you will be able to collect your car with ease.The new Terminal buildings have several more check-in desks so the process is fairly swift, there are a few snack machines etc. In the terminal and a small coffee shop but the main shops of which there are several along with duty free shops and a choice of restaurants are found once you go through to the departure lounge. 

The departure lounge is very light and airy and there is an outside smoking area with seating and refreshment facilities. Most airlines operate in and out of Paphos Airport although several stop operating during the winter months of November to March although Paphos itself is still open.  EasyJet fly throughout the year and good prices can often be found if you book in advance.  Taxis are also available at the Airport and can be found just outside the terminal buildings, there are no buses at Paphos Airport.
