Car Hire Rzeszow Airport

The centre of Rzeszow may be best avoided by drivers because of the congestion and many of its sights are accessible on foot but to get a full picture of this beautiful, privately owned town, you’ll need a hire car. It’s quite possible that if you spend hours looking through all the companies that offer car hire at Rzeszow Airport, you’ll find a good deal but why bother wasting your precious time when we do that all for you and don’t charge you anything for doing so. Our computers search the systems of the fifty biggest car hire companies in the world in real time so that when you enter your travel details, the price shown will be the lowest available anywhere at that time.

Rzeszow Airport Guide

Rzeszow Airport’s full name is Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport and is located six miles from the city centre. There’s a local bus service to the city but with often unreliable times and a crush of passengers using it, a hire car is a much better idea when you can collect it as you arrive at Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport. Most of the flights from Rzeszow airport are seasonal holiday routes to sunny beach resorts but as well as a domestic service to Warsaw, there are Ryanair flights to several UK airports including Birmingham, Bristol, Stansted and Manchester.

Rzeszow is a very attractive town that has been under the control of the Lubomirski family for centuries. Their former palace is now the region’s law courts and unfortunately are generally inaccessible. The city has a large Jewish population and the two synagogues from the 17th and 18th centuries which were badly damaged in the Second World War. Both have now been restored and are quiet contemplative places.

The main attraction of Rzeszow is its underground tunnels which are a series of cellars, built in the 17th century, that interlink and form several kilometres of walkways underneath Rzeszow – a fabulous day out for the adventurous.
