Amsterdam Airport Information

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is situated 15km to the southwest of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.  The airport has one terminal and is the third busiest international airport in the world.   If driving to the airport from Amsterdam, The Hague or Rotterdam, take the A4 motorway and follow the signs to the airport. Two short term car parks (P1 and P2) are both connected to the terminal and Schiphol Plaza by covered walkways.  These are recommended for stays of up to 48 hours.  Long term parking is available in an open air car park (P3) which is situated approx.4km from the airport.  A free 24-hour shuttle bus service operates to the terminal.  A VIP valet service is also available.

Buses operate a frequent public bus service from the airport to Amsterdam and other cities.  The bus stop can be found on Platform A7 in front of the Arrivals Hall 2.  Direct train services are available from the airport to Amsterdam Centraal station.  The railway station is located in the terminal’s central hall under the Schiphol Plaza.  Direct trains services are also available to Amsterdam RAI convention centre and other cities including The Hague, Rotterdam and Vlissingen.
