Osaka Kansai Airport Guide

Kansai Airport is located on an artificial island off the coast of Osaka reachable by car only over the Sky Gate Bridge R. There are train and bus links to the airport but for the sheer fun of crossing into Osaka, a hire car from Kansai Airport is a must.

The castle is an interesting sight being a concrete reconstruction of the original but which is beautified in spring when the blossom trees flower. The Science Museum is a popular destination too with several floors of interactive exhibits that kids just love.

Another interesting place to see is the Umeda Sky Building which was built to upgrade a poor area and now offers bizarre entertainments such as a through the air escalator and an illuminated love seat.
