Oakland International Airport is 15km south of Oakland, a city in Alameda County, California, United States. It is one of three international airports in the San Francisco Bay area and provides a service to many destinations in the USA as well as Mexico. The airport has two terminals which are linked by a covered pedestrian walkway. If driving from the north or south on the I-880 follow the exit signs on 98th Avenue or Hegenberger Road to the airport entrance.
The airport has over 7,000 parking spaces which include hourly, daily, economy and valet car parking. A moving walkway and free shuttle buses connect the two terminals and the car parks.

AirBART and AC Transit buses operate a frequent service between the airport and the BART Oakland Coliseum rail station. The AC Transit line 50 bus connects to the Amtrak Station at Jack London Square. Line 805 is an hourly service during the night between the airport and downtown Oakland and downtown San Francisco. A ferry service is available to Alameda, San Francisco’s Ferry Terminal and Pier 39/Fisherman’s Wharf.
Facilities at the airport include ATMs, Wi-Fi internet access, post boxes and a paramedic service. There is a wide variety of restaurants, snack bars, coffee shops and bars in both terminals. Shops are also available in both terminals and duty free shopping is available in Terminal 1. Full access facilities are available for disabled travellers. Fully equipped business centres are located in both terminals.

All these hotels provide a courtesy shuttle service to and from the airport.
