Honolulu International Airport is situated 6km west of Honolulu, State of Hawaii,
USA. It is one of the busiest airports in the United States. The airport has three terminals and free Wiki-Wiki shuttles link the terminals. The largest airline at Honolulu airport is Hawaiian Airlines. The H-1 freeway affords easy access to the airport. The airport has a multi-level garage which can be accessed directly from the main terminal. Open car parks are also located near to all the lobbies. An economy parking lot is situated off-site and a courtesy shuttle bus provides transport to the terminals.
Taxis and car hire is readily available at the airport. Several city bus services operate from the airport. Bus 19 and bus 20 operate different routes to central Waikiki. Waikiki Express is the licensed shuttle service which serves the hotels in Waikiki. Facilities at the airport include a Bureau de Change, ATMs, a post office, a 24-hour medical clinic and a 24-hour medical centre. Good facilities are available for disabled passengers.
Conference facilities are available in the Garden Conference Center and also at the Inter-Island terminal. There is a wide selection of restaurants and snack bars including Burger King, Yummies BBQ, Pizza Hut and Starbucks. Shopping facilities at the airport include newsstands, a barber/beauty shop, gifts/jewellery and flowers. Hotels located near to the airport include the Ohana Honolulu Airport Hotel, the Best Western Plaza Hotel and the Pacific Marina Inn. A shuttle service is provided by all these hotels.
