There is no train connection with the airport. Three bus lines are operated from the airport. These provide transport to Plaza de Galicia in Santiago via Dr Texeiro, Avenida de Lugo (train station), the bus station in Lugo and the Hotel Atlantico in A Coruna.
The airport has a restaurant and snack bar together with seven shops. Facilities are available for disabled passengers.

Santiago de Compostela is notable for its fine seafood and excellent wines. Historically the city is famous as the place where St James was buried after his remains were transferred to the city by sea from the Holy Land.
