About
The public and military airport serves Salamanca, and is located on 15km from Salamanca city, which is a pick up point for Car Hire Salamanca Airport. History

Salamanca Airport was opened to the public in July 1946. It is then that tourists could visit via domestic and international flights. The airport was also used for technical stopovers for commercial traffic.
In 1974 aspiring commercial pilots could train at the base in Salamaca. This was due to the opening of the National Aeronautics School (ENA).
Getting there
