Reno-Tahoe International Airport is situated 6.5km southeast of downtown Reno, a city in Washoe County, Nevada, United States.   The airport has one terminal and serves the Reno metropolitan area, western Nevada and parts of eastern California.  It is the closest commercial airport to the ski resort of Lake Tahoe.  Hwy-395 and I-80 provide easy access to the airport. The airport has both short and long-term parking.  The covered car park building is connected to the terminal by lifts and a walkway.  A long-term surface parking lot is situated just south of the parking garage.

Car Rental Reno is readily available at the airport or downtown and major car rental companies are to be found at desks located on the lower level in the terminal building. We will confirm your collection point when we confirm your booking.

RTC operate a bus service.  A scheduled shuttle service is provided by North Lake Tahoe Express, South Tahoe Express and the airport mini bus.  There is also a “on demand” limo service.  The Reno Tahoe Express Shuttle runs between the airport and scheduled hotels.
Facilities at the airport include ATMs, free Wi-Fi internet access and AED (defibrillators).   Full access facilities are available for disabled passengers.  There is a selection of restaurants and coffee shops and fast-food is available in the Food Court.  A range of shops is sited at the airport including newsagents, gift stores, golf, clothing, sweets and duty-free.

The Best Western Airport Plaza Hotel is situated directly opposite the terminal building and full conference facilities are available at this hotel.  Other hotels close to the airport include the Holiday Inn Reno, Rodeway Inn Reno and the Hilton Garden Inn Reno.

Reno, is located at the foot of the snowcapped Sierra Nevada in the western part of the state near the California border  Reno has first-class hotels, golf courses and casinos.  Several shopping malls are to be found in Reno and include The Summit and Meadowood Mall together with the Cabela’s stores.  The casinos are in the downtown area, along Virginia Street either side of the railroad tracks and wedding chapels are to be found all around the city.  Popular attractions include the Galena Creek Regional Park and Lake El Reno which is used for water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, boating and fishing.
