Pittsburgh International Airport is situated 30km west of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.  The airport has two terminals and 24-hour free shuttle bus links the two terminals.  If driving from central Pittsburgh, drive through Fort Pitt tunnels RT 279 South and then take the SR279 South and follow signs for the airport.  The airport access road is at SR60, junction 6.  Car Hire Pittsburgh Airport is a great choice if either arriving or departing from the Airport, check out the luggage capacity on your vehicle before booking.

The airport offers short and long term parking facilities.  These parking areas are connected to the Landside Terminal by an enclosed walkway.  There is also an extended stay car park and a free shuttle bus provides transport to and from the Landside Terminal.  Valet parking is also available.

The 28X Airport Flyer bus provides a service to central Pittsburgh and Oakland approx. every 20 minutes.  The Beaver County Transit route 6 runs to Rochester and Robinson.  Various shuttle services operate from the airport to nearby centres and many of the local hotels provide a courtesy shuttle service.

Facilities at the airport include a Bureau de Change, ATMs, a post office, emergency medical services, a chapel and free Wi-Fi internet access.  Good facilities are available for disabled passengers.  There is a good range of restaurants, cafes, bars and fast-food outlets at the airport.  A variety of shops are sited at the airport including gift shops.  There are no business facilities at the airport but a fully equipped business centre can be found at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Hotel which is located in the airport grounds.

Pittsburg is a city of bridges – around 40 bridges cross the three rivers near the city.  Downtown Pittsburg has good shopping areas and places to eat.  Pittsburg has many nationally and internationally well known attractions including Carnegie Science Centre, Sandcastle Water Park, Pittsburg Zoo, Heinz History Centre and the US Steel tower.
