Philadelphia International Airport is situated 11km from downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.  It is the largest airport in the Delaware Valley region.and millions of domestic and international travellers use the airport each year. Facilities at the airport include Bureau de Change, ATMs, self-service postal centres, data ports and wireless internet access.  There is a good selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and fast-food outlets throughout the airport.  Relay Gifts operate several outlets throughout the terminals together with Skynews, Time to Fly stores and duty-free shopping.  Medical facilities, baby-changing facilities and disabled facilities are also available.  The Laptop Lane business centre provides good facilities for the business traveller.

The Airport Marriott hotel is located at the airport.  Various other hotels are located nearby and include the Hilton, Comfort Inn and Embassy Suites.  Philadelphia is the largest city in Pennsylvania and the sixth largest city in the United States.  The city is an important industrial and commercial centre as well as a major port.  Philadelphia’s Independence National Historical Park has several attractions which date from the era of the American Revolution.  Among the highlights are Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, and the Liberty Bell which was sounded after the first public reading of the Declaration.
