Charlottetown Airport Guide

Charlottetown Airport is around ten minutes north of the town and with a good road into Charlottetown, you’ll enjoy the journey. The airport has many domestic and international flights including holiday flights to Mexico and flights to JFK in New York. Whilst there aren’t any direct flights from Europe, there are enough connections to and from major North American cities to make getting to Charlottetown from other destinations quick and cheap.

The town is considered to be one of the prettiest in Canada with many old buildings linked with the founding of the country. Spend some time looking around the Founder’s Hall or at the Beaconsfield Historic House where you’ll get an insight into the Canada of centuries ago.

Outside the town is the famous PEI National Park and there are several roads that take you past places of interest there. You’ll also find miles of marked hiking trails and several campsites if you really want to commune with nature. Offshore you can take boat trips out to see the seals playing in the waves.
