Car Hire Tucuman Airport

Tucuman is a historic city in the north of Argentina. You can stay in the city and rely on public transport to get you around or you can hire a car from Any Airport Car Hire to go where you like, when you like. If you’ve ever been quoted a price for car hire which seems particularly cheap to begin with, you’ll have recoiled in horror at the final bill when all the ‘extras’ are added on. You won’t get that shock with Any Airport Car Hire for our pricing policy is transparent meaning you’ll know what’s included in the price and what isn’t.

Tucuman Airport Guide

Tucuman Airport’s proper title is a bit of a mouthful; Teniente General Benjamin Matienzo International Airport so it’s no wonder people refer to it simply as Tucuman Airport. It’s around five miles from the centre of Tucuman and served over 400,000 passengers last year. The airport has bus and taxi links to the city but rather than be stranded in Tucuman after being dropped off, collecting a hire car from the airport means you’ll have transport for the duration of your stay.

There are six flights to Tucuman Airport with half of them from the capital Buenos Aires. Getting to Tucuman isn’t easy from outside Argentina as most international flights travel to Ezeiza Airport in Buenos Aires rather than the Aeroparque. A short trip between the two is required before catching the connecting flight to Tucuman.

In Tucuman, the main attraction is the Casa Historica where the declaration of independence from Spain was signed. Elsewhere the attractions include many beautiful city parks and the opportunity to learn Spanish at one of the language schools in Tucuman.
